1. No carrier sales from vendor booths will be allowed. All rabbits must be brought to the Angora Tent. We will accept rabbits all three days. ALL rabbits must be checked in prior to admittance to the sales area. The Rabbit Committee reserves the right to disqualify any entries based on age, weight, and condition, i.e. too young, too small, poor condition (health and matts). ALL bunnies must be a minimum of 8 weeks old. The Committee reserves the right to judge whether bunnies are too young or not.
2. A Rabbit Committee representative will be in the Angora Tent at all times to answer questions or transact sales for vendors with booths in other areas or for those who wish to enjoy other events at the festival. Exhibitors are responsible for providing any and all information about their rabbits to the committee at the time of check-in. Please prove a 3x5 index card for each rabbit indicating the type (English, French, German, etc.), sex, age, price, owner name and any other information you wish to give about your bunnies or your rabbitry. If a rabbit has a pedigree, please bring the pedigree.
3. Rabbits should be clean, well groomed and free of matts prior to check in. Any rabbit showing signs of disease or is ill will not be allowed to be sold.
4. Exhibitors are responsible for care and feeding of their own rabbits and must provide adequate food and water along with food and water containers.
5. There will be a fee of $2.00 per rabbits paid at time of check-in.
6. Rabbits will not be accepted before 8:00 a.m. on Saturday Sep 1st. Rabbits will be accepted for sale all three days.
The Rabbit Committee is dedicated to good husbandry practices and to educate and promote the beautiful Angora rabbit as an economic source for its luxurious fiber, which can be used in many ways.
There will be a rabbit raffle to help offset the cost of this year’s tent. The winner or his/her representative must be present to claim the rabbit. |
