Show Rules
1. All animals must be listed on a health certificate.
2. Open to any person 21 years and younger.
3. Sheep must be registered (Goats do not need to be registered) from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm on Saturday. Market lambs and goats will be weighed on Saturday at 12 p.m.
4. All lambs must be born on or after Jan. 1 2011.
5. Each exhibitor allowed 2 animals per class.
6. All breeding animals must be recorded in their respective record associations and the association tag at the time of registration.
7. Sheep/Goats must be owned at least 60 days prior to the day of the show certificates of registry must be presented at the time of registration.
8. If an exhibitor has more than one entry in a class only another junior exhibitor may show it.
9. An entry fee of $3.00 will be charged for each animal.
10. All classes will show regardless of the number of entries.
11. Market lambs and goats classes will include all breeds and crossbreeds.
12. Market lambs and goats will be divided into classes according to the weight of those registered.
13. All market lambs and goats must be slick shorn.
14. We support appropriate showmanship and treatment of all animals. Anyone not following such policy will be removed from the show ring. Superintendent's decision is final
15. Contestants may not use same ewe lamb (doe) for crossbred ewe (doe) and market lamb classes.
 
Lamb Breeds
Colombia, Corriedale, Cottswold, Dorset, Hamphire, Katahdins, Lincoln, Montadale, Oxford, Rambouillet, Shropshire, Southdown, Suffolk, Texels, and Tunis. Also colored sheep and crossbred ewe.
 
Lamb Classes
Ram lamb, Ewe Lamb, Yearling Ewe and Market Lamb
 
Goat Breeds
Boer, Percentage, Boer cross, all show together.
 
Goat Classes
Junior Buck (<1 yr of age), Yearling Buck (1-2 yr of age), Junior Doe(<1 yr of age), Yearling Doe (1-2 yr of age), Doe (>2 yr of age), Market Goats (<1 yr of age, doe or wither)

Pre-Entries
  Will sell first in their perspective sale division
  Animals may arrive at any time prior to the start of the sale.
  Fees of $10/head due upon entry.  (No pen fee day of the sale)
  Commissions fees of 5% will be deducted
  Pre-entries are non-refundable
  Entries received prior to August 21 will be advertised on the website.
  Entries received after August 21 and before September 3 will be listed on website
  Consignor information and animal descriptions will be listed on website.

  7. Late Arrivals - sheep arriving after 12:30 pm on Sunday
  Pre-entries will sell first in their respective division.
  Other consignments will sell in their respective division in the order in which they arrive on the grounds.
  Animals arriving at 12:30 pm will sell in their arrival order regardless of type.
  Animals will be penned in the barn by their type.
 
Terms
Cash. All animals are to be paid for before leaving the sale barn. The auctioneer's decision will be final on any dispute reguarding bids. All animals will be at the purchaser's risk as soon as sold and any expense thereafter will be paid by the purchaser. Each sale shall constitute a contract between the consignor and purchaser. The sales management and festival organization shall not in any way be involved in the performance of the contract.
 
Registration and Health Papers
Registration papers will be required on all animals sold as registered and the transfer of these papers will be at the auction ring. Each consignor must porvide a health certificate from their local veterinarian on all animals presented for sale. No animal with a contagious disease will be permitted to unload or be penned in the sale barn. There will be a veterinarian on the grounds. All animals to be listed individually by tag or tattoo number on health papers.
